Dark Souls 2, the latest entry of the series developed by From Software, is going to receive three new DLC chapters in the near future.
The trilogy will be called The Lost Crowns and allow gamers to embark on new adventures in the Dark Souls 2 universe.
Crown of the Sunken King’ – The first chapter in the trilogy, this will launch on July 22 for PC and Xbox 360, and July 23 for PlayStation 3. It sends players on a journey to reclaim the crowns that Drangleic’s King Vendrick once owned. It features an entirely different world within the Dark Souls II universe, where stepped pyramids span a vast underground cavern. It is said that one of the ancient crowns lay buried deep within these dark caverns; but surely such a valued item cannot sit unguarded. Players that seek adversity and glory will be rewarded with a crown that holds the strength of lords from times long past.
‘Crown of the Old Iron King’ – The second chapter in the trilogy, it will launch on August 26 for PC and Xbox 360, and on August 27 for PlayStation 3.
‘Crown of the Ivory King’ – The final chapter in the trilogy, it will launch on September 23 for PC and Xbox 360, and September 24 for PlayStation 3.
A Season Pass for the trilogy is now available for the PC and PlayStation 3 versions of the game, allowing gamers to get all the three chapters for a slightly reduced price.
Dark Souls 2 is now available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
