Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360 is going to be developed by High Moon Studios, Sledgehammer Games confirmed a few hours ago. High Moon Studios has recently worked on Deadpool and Transformers game, among other titles.
The fact that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare old gen was going to be developed by another team was already confirmed a while back but we didn’t yet know which team was going to work on the game.
Michael Condrey, the studio’s co-founder, has revealed that the fact that Sledgehammer is only working on the new gen version will allow them to develop their ideas to the fullest, without having to worry if they’re going to work on the old gen versions as well.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare isn’t the only recent first person game to receive similar treatment. Respawn’s Titanfall Xbox 360 has been developed by BluePoint games, which did an excellent job on the game. The wording used by Condrey seems to indicate that there could be differences between the new and old gen versions of the game, something that would be different from what happened with Titanfall.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
